TNI Bureau: The situation remained tensed in Jammu and Kashmir and the curfew continued for the third on Monday. Additional security forces have been deployed to maintain law and order in the state after the hanging of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru on Saturday.

Clashes were reported between the protesters and police in Watergam (Rafiabad) village of Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Even Chief Minister Omar Abdullah slammed the Centre on Guru’s hanging. He also asked why the dead body of Guru was not handed over to his family.
