CRUT Returns 70 Lost Items to Passengers in October, Ensures Safe and Reliable Travel on Ama Bus

Bhubaneswar: The Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) has successfully reunited 70 lost items with their rightful owners during the month of October 2025.

According to CRUT, a total of 111 items, including mobile phones, wallets, bags, umbrellas, and cash, were left behind by commuters while travelling in Ama Buses.

The recovered belongings included 22 bags, 12 purses, 8 umbrellas, 7 mobile phones, ₹4,191 in cash, and 15 other miscellaneous items. CRUT officials stated that their team promptly collected and catalogued each item to ensure safe return to the respective owners.

The transport authority emphasized that passenger belongings are “as safe as their journey” on Ama Bus. Commuters who misplace their items are encouraged to contact CRUT immediately at 18005700218, providing details along with their travel ticket for verification.
