TNI Bureau: Piyush Chawla took a career-best 4/69 in tests, as England bowled out for 330 in the first innings of the Nagpur Test. India made a disastrous start by losing Virender Sehwag in the very first over. He scored a duck. Anderson took the wicket.

Debutant Joseph Root scored 73, while Matt Prior made 57. Graeme Swann scored 56. Kevin Pietersen (73) and Trott (44) were the other top contributors. Chawla took four wickets, while Ishant bagged three. Ravindra Jadeja took two wickets.
