TNI Bureau: Former Member of Parliament and BJP National Council Member Pratyusha Rajeshwari Singh has written to the Odisha Chief Minister seeking immediate action against Jyotiranjan Samantaray, Additional Superintendent of Police in Nayagada district.

In her letter dated June 3, 2026, Singh alleged that Samantaray has been involved in multiple acts of corruption and misuse of official power. She claimed that despite serious allegations, the officer continues to use his position unlawfully by illegally collecting money from the public.
Singh has urged the Chief Minister’s office to take “strict and immediate action” against Samantaray and transfer him outside Nayagada district in the interest of justice and public welfare.
