TNI Bureau: The much-awaited Bhubaneswar-Jeypore air service will begin from December 3, 2012. The flight operation between both cities will run six days a week with Sunday being a holiday. The air service will be provided by ‘Air Odisha’.

The flight cost seems very high at present at Rs 7,500 per person. However, it could be revised in future, depending on the circumstances. The nine-seater flight from Bhubaneswar will take off at 7 AM in the morning and reach Jeypore at 8:30 AM.

Similarly, the flight from Jeypore will take off at 8:45 AM and reach Bhubaneswar at around 10:15 AM. Total air distance between Bhubaneswar and Jeypore is around 400 km. It is believed that the service would be mostly beneficial for the politicians, industrialists, businessmen and Executives.
