Most shops have remained closed today, fearing violence. The buses, taxis and autos stayed off the roads. Only some private vehicles and long-route buses are plying on the road, but not in large volume.

No untoward incident has been reported so far. However, at some places, the Bajrang Dal activists resorted to force to stop the vehicles. Heavy security deployment has made across the city.
