Yoga Guru Ramdev, who has waged a war against the Congress and black money menace, was detained at the Heathrow Airport in London for over eight hours by the British Customs officials.

There is no clarity why Baba Ramdev was questioned for so long. Some reports say that he was questioned on the Hindi and Sanskrit books he was carrying. Other reports revealed that Ramdev was detained because of the medicines he carried. However, according to some sources, Ramdev was questioned, as he did not have a business visa and came to UK on a visitor visa.

Ramdev had gone to London to attend a function organised by the Patanjali Yogpeeth. The yoga guru indirectly blamed Congress President Sonia Gandhi, saying only she could answer why he was detained at Heathrow airport.
