India chapter of the Luxury car maker Audi has opened its first showroom in Orissa. The opening took place in the capital city Bhubaneswar in presence of Bollywood actress Lara Dutta amongst others.

This is the 26th Showroom of Audi in India that is spread over an area of 11500sqft. It was inaugurated by Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India, Devjyoti Patnaik, managing director, Audi Bhubaneswar in the presence of the former Miss Universe Lara Dutta.

As per the company, the entire range of Audi India models will be available for sale in this new showroom. Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India, said “our dealer expansion strategy has helped us to tap the underlying growth potential of the luxury automotive market of India and reach the maximum number of potential buyers across the country. Customers in Tier II cities are exhibiting an increased appetite for luxury and are appreciative of the sportiness, progressiveness and sophistication that our brand offers. Orissa is a key market for us and I am confident that Audi Bhubaneswar will play an integral role in sustaining the momentum that Audi India has created in reaching the pole position.” during launch of the facility.

To provide the exclusive elements the showroom will house the Audi Exclusive elements and an Audi Shop. For the after sell service facility, the Audi service centre will start operating in the next five months behind the showroom on NH-5, Cuttack – Bhubaneswar Highway. The centre will be equipped with Capacity of this centre will be equipped with 09 bays along with body shop and paint shop to render service to 15 cars per day in a single shift.
