Ashok Sahu backs Modi, asks Advani to Quit

Date:

Senior BJP leader Ashok Sahu, who had unsuccessfully contested from Kandhamal Lok Sabha seat in 2009, has openly backed Narendra Modi as the future leader of the country and even asked veteran leader LK Advani to quit from politics and restrain himself from making any adverse comments that would create confusion within the party.

Here’s what Ashok Sahu had to say on Facebook:

“Gujarat was a healthy state when Modiji became CM. He improved the state. But here Shivrajji has achieved a complete turnaround, transforming a ‘bimaru’ state into a healthy state that is counted internationally,” Advaniji said during a convention of BJP organisers in Gwalior on Saturday. That apart Advaniji also said that the humility in MP CM Shivrajji Chauhan reminds one of Atalji.

Shri LK Advani, as the senior most leader of the BJP can pour accolades to any of his junior colleagues in the Party for their achievements, but by doing so, neither should he compare them with each other nor the least, comparing any one of them with Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. To compare any one with Atalji is to insult Atalji.

Born on November 8, 1927 in Karachi (now in Pakistan) Shri LK Advani is 86 years old. He has come a long way to shape the country’s politics and emergence of BJP as the only alternative to Congress before the nation. Now it is time for him to call ‘quits’ and live a life in reflections and recollections. His not well-thought-of comments should be restrained in his own interest and the nation’s interest besides that of the Party. He should let the Nation’s Will to shape in to reality. Nation’s rebuilding process be passed over to younger hands and minds.
