Ashok GehlotBJP Spokesperson in Rajasthan, Jyoti Kiran revealed that Ashok Gehlot’s Facebook page, which is handled by a high-profile tech team, had 1,69,077 ‘Likes’ until June 1, 2013. But, the number surged to 2,14,639 by June 30.

According to Kiran, Gehlot’s ‘most popular city’ feature showed that most of his ‘Likes’ came from Istanbul, Turkey instead of Jaipur. She wondered whether Ashok Gehlot is really popular in Turkey, and if it’s true, how it became possible.

She further alleged that some IT companies are selling ‘Facebbok Likes’, but that gives a false impression about one’s popularity. According to the BJP, Ashok Gehlot bought the ‘Likes’ from IT firms in Istanbul, Turkey.
