England handed over a humiliating defeat to Australia at the Lord’s to lead the Ashes Series 2013 2-0. Australia lost by 347 runs, their third worst defeat in Tests. The Poms dominated the Kangaroos from the Day 1 and registered a resounding victory.

Joe-RootChasing a victory target of 583, Australia could manage just 235 in the second innings. Graeme Swann was the pick of the bowlers, as he took four wickets. Joe Root was declared ‘Man of the Match’ for his all-round performance. In the first Test, England had won by 14 runs in a thriller.
