TNI Bureau: The 75-year-old anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare has taken an unprecedented decision of starting and indefinite fast from July 29, demanding a stronger Lokpal Bill.

Anna’s aides Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Gopal Rai will begin the indefinite hunger strike at Jantar Mantar tomorrow. The doctors had advised Anna not to go for fast because of his failing health conditions. However, Anna decided to take the plunge because of centre’s apathy towards his demands.

Anna accused the government of making false promises, but taking no action to pass a strong Lokpal Bill. “I will continue to campaign for the Lokpal”, he said.
