Petrol Prices reduced by Rs 2 Per Litre

Date:

In a huge relief to the consumers, the oil companies have slashed the petrol prices by Rs 2 per litre with effective from midnight today. This is the sharpest fall in petrol prices in nine months, which gives a “feel good” impression to all.

The diesel rates have been kept unchanged for a while despite the belief that it would go up by 40-50 paise per litre. It seems that the oil companies have deferred the decision to save the government from any trouble.

In Delhi, the petrol prices have gone down by Rs 2.40 per litre. The petrol in the national capital will cost Rs 70.74.
