Former Ranji Captain Haramohan Praharaj dies at 56

Rourkela: Former Odisha Ranji Tropjy captain and cricket coach Haramohan Praharaj died at the age of 56. He represented Odisha team for more than a decade. He captained the team for three years. Haramohan Praharaj also represented the East Zone in Deodhar Trophy.

Praharaj had been working as the  Assistant Manager, Sports Department, Rourkela Steel Plant. He was ailing for the last few years. He breathed his last in Rourkela. He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.

Haramohan Praharaj was the brother former Odisha DGP Manmohan Praharaj. The sports fraternity in Rourkela and other parts of the state are in state of shock following the news of his demise. OCA President Ranjib Biswal, Rourkela Sports Association President Mihir Ray and Secretary Bhaskar Nanda have condoled the death of Harmohan Praharaj.
