TNI Bureau: The budget session of Odisha assembly will commence from February 14. The session will run for 30 days in two phases. The state budget will be presented on February 19.

The first phase of the session will start with the address of Governor in the House on February 14. It will end on February 25. The second phase will start from March 7 to April 6.

It is likely to be stormy session as the opposition is ready to attack the government in all fronts. Congress may ask question on announcement of Re. 1 rice per kg to the BPL and APL families in the House.
