TNI Bureau: India defeated Pakistan by 11 runs in a thrilling T20 encounter in Ahmedabad to level the series at 1-1. Pakistan had won the first T20 match in Bangalore earlier. Mohammad Hafeez, who batted well in both matches, was declared ‘Man of the Series’.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first. India posted 192/5 in 20 overs, thanks to Yuvraj Singh (72 off 36 balls). Gambhir (21), Rahane (28), Kohli (27) and Dhoni (33) were the top contributors. Umar Gul took four wickets.

Chasing a victory target of 193, Pakistan started well and gained momentum in the middle. But, they lost the match in the last three overs. Nasir Jamshed (41), Shehzad (31), Umar Akmal (24) and Hafeez (55) were the top scorers. Pakistan finished at 181/7 in 20 overs and lost the match by 11 runs. Ashok Dinda took three wickets. Yuvraj Singh was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
