TNI Bureau: The Odisha selectors have recalled opener Bikas Pati to the team that would take on Maharashtra in VSS Stadium in Sambalpur during Dec 1-4. Bikas may replace Sandip Mulia as the opener, who scored just 26 runs from four matches.

Although Odisha scored remarkable victories against Haryana and Karnataka on their soils, openers failed to shine in any of the matches. The team management kept changing the opening pair. While Mulia opened in every match, Alok Sahoo and Natraj Behera were tried and tested many times.
