Obama wins Florida, takes Vote Tally to 332

TNI Bureau: US President Barack Obama has won all 29 electoral votes in Florida after a long counting process, taking his vote tally to 332 as compared to Mitt Romney’s total count of 206.

Obama needed 270 out of 540 electoral votes to win the 2012 Presidential Polls. However, he secured 61% of the seats, proving himself a big gainer in the race to White House.

In Florida, Obama won 50 per cent of the eight million ballots cast, while Romney secured 40.1 oer cent. Over eight million ballots were cast in Florida.
