TNI Bureau: Taiwanese manufacturer HTC launched its new mid-ranged Windows Phone 8, the HTC 8S along with two other Android based Smartphones Friday in Singapore. The Smartphone uses the new Windows Phone 8 operating system along with other lucrative features. The device will be available in India at a price of Rs 19,260.
The HTC 8S features a 4-inch bright super LCD display with Gorilla Glass having with 800x 480 pixels, 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor and a 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording. It is equipped with 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory having with Expandable memory with microSD and powered with 1,700 mAh battery.
Connectivity features of the device include, 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and aGPS with GLONASS. In India, the Phone will be available in Fiesta Red and Atlantic Blue colors. The HTC 8S comes with a matte finish.

The device also comes with built-in Beats Audio support with custom EQ settings that power the 3.5mm audio jack and the speaker, available with the Smartphone, boosting the audio signal for even better sound for listening audio songs/sounds, playing a game or watching a video.
Other important features of the device include Live apps, Top apps, Kid’s corner, Rooms, Data Sense, Wallet and near-field communications and Skype experience.
