Ayodhya Bar Association asks Champat Rai to leave the City

TNI Bureau: The Ayodhya Bar Association has issued a 3-day ultimatum to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champat Rai, trustee Anil Mishra, and Gopal Rao, asking them to leave Ayodhya or face jail.

Kalika Prasad Mishra, President, Ayodhya Bar Association warned that if the trio did not leave the city within three days, Ayodhya would be blockaded and no one would be allowed to enter.

Ayodhya Bar Association has taken a significant decision stating that none of its members will represent the eight accused arrested in the embezzlement of Ram Temple donations.

According to the resolution passed by the Bar Association, any advocate appearing on behalf of the accused will be fined Rs 5 lakh. In addition, the lawyer’s membership of the Faizabad Bar Association will also be cancelled.
