Sukma Naxal Attack: Two Odisha Labourers Killed

The gruesome naxal attack on the Congress Convoy on Saturday, which claimed the lives of 29 people, including many Congress leaders and cadres, also left two labourers from Odisha dead.

At least five labourers, hailing from Bamuni village under Koshagumuda block of Nabarangpur district, were returning in a truck, when they too came under attack from the naxals during that bloodbath. Two of them died on the spot, while three others sustained injuries.

The deceased have been identified as Prahalad Majhi (32) and Chandra Shekhar Majhi (34). The injured who are being treated at a hospital, include Bina Majhi, Suru Majhi and Bhadra Majhi.
