The BJP has come up with serious allegations against the Congress Party and CBI that they have hatched a conspiracy to frame Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan Assembly Gulab Chand Kataria to divert the attention of the public from the misrule of the UPA Government at the Centre. The party also alleged that the Congress wants to revive its declining fortunes in Rajasthan by indulging in such activities.

If we believe Arun Jaitley and many other BJP leaders, the Congress has launched an offensive against Kataria so that it can target Narendra Modi and BJP elsewhere in the country. He also accused the government of misusing the CBI, as it did in the Coalgate case.

BJP President Rajnath Singh vowed to fight back and threw his full weight behind Gulab Chand Kataria, saying he was never involved in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case. Rajasthan BJP President Vasundhara Raje Scindia too supported Kataria.

Meanwhile, Kataria has vowed to resign from the membership of the assembly if he is arrested in this case. He also took a strong resolve to come clean and prove the CBI wrong.
