IPL 6: Punjab win by 5 Wickets

Date:

Once again, David Miller guided Punjab to their second consecutive win in the ongoing IPL. For Delhi, it was a disappointing tournament on Tuesday at Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi as they lost to Punjab. They are all set to fall at the bottom of the table for some time now.

Miller and Mandeep Singh led the team to victory chasing the target 121. While Miller scored 34 off 39 balls, Mandeep collected 24 (5 fours) from 15 balls. The team won game by 5 wickets in 17 ovs. Harmeet Singh was the MoM for his bowling of 3/24. The victory is a big boost for the team.

Punjab guys bowled and batted well. David Hussey also did a good job. He scored 20 off 21 balls.

From Delhi side, Irfan Pathan and Ashish Nehra were the leading wicket takers with one each. However, Virender Sehwag could not be able to collect fastest run on his home ground. The team, which had opened its account with a victory in previous match, failed to maintain the flow.

First, the Kings XI Punjab won the toss but elected to field. Delhi scored 120/7 (20.0 Ovs).
