Mumbai beats Pune, moves to Top of Points Table

Sachin Tendulkar regained form, while Rohit Sharma scored an unbeaten fifty, as Mumbai Indians crushed Pune Warriors India by 41 runs to move to the top of the points table in IPL 6.

Mumbai won the toss and elected to bat first. They posted 183/3 in 20 overs. Tendulkar scored 44, while Rohit Sharma remained unbeaten on 62. Dinesh Karthik scored 41.

Chasing a victory target of 184, Pune Warriors India finished at 142/8 in 20 overs and lost the match by 41 runs. Yuvraj Singh (24), T Suman (23) and Mitchell Marsh (38) were the top scorers. Mitchell Johnson took three wickets. Rohit Sharma was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
