+2 Results Out in Odisha, 70% Passout Reported

Girls have taken the lead yet again, as the 10+2 results were declared this morning in Odisha. Total passout percentage across Arts, Science and Commerce stands at 70 per cent. In Science, 72.07% students passed the exams, while 68.1% got through in Commerce. The passout percentage in Arts has been reported at 69.59%.

Just like the CBSE Class XII results, the girls outperformed the boys in +2 exams too. Their pass rate is 73.79%, while the boys recorded 71.04 pass percentage in science. Similarly, the pass percentage of girls in Commerce is 73.52% and boys registered 66.01%. While 72.98% girls cleared the test in Arts, the pass percentage of boys is 65.43 %.

In total, 18,440 students got first division in Science, while 3,421 secured first division in Commerce. In Arts, 14,148 students secured first division.

Dhenkanal district topped in both science and arts streams registering the pass percentage of 85.70% and 82.33%, while Nuapada recorded the lowest pass percentage of 34.05% in science. Sundergarh registered the lowest percentage of 47.95% in arts. Khordha registered the highest pass percentage of 80.67% in commerce, while Deogarh recorded the lowest results in the same stream with a pass percentage of 24.36%.
