While the entire Bollywood is backing actor Sanjay Dutt for pardon, who was recently sentenced to five years imprisonment by the Supreme Court in 1993 Mumbai blasts case, another convict has sought pardon from Maharashtra Governor in the same case.

Zaibunisa Kazi (70) was convicted of same charges as Sanjay Dutt. Her daughter wrote a letter to the Maharashtra Governor seeking pardon after Press Council of India (PCI) chairman Markandey Katju sought pardon for Sanjay Dutt in the case. She asked if Sanjay gets support from everyone for clemency, her mother should get pardon on humanitarian grounds.
The convict also received support from Justice Katju, who has the actor for pardon. Katju said that Zaibunisa also deserved pardon.
