A couple of days before Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s scheduled visit to West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress suffered massive setbacks with 3 Senior leaders deserting the party.

The biggest setback was former Transport Minister Suvendu Adhikari’s resignation from the party. He has already resigned from the Bengal Assembly.

Col. (R) Diptangshu Choudhary also resigned as the Chairman of South Bengal State Transport Corporation (SBSTC). TMC MLA Jitendra Tiwari was the next to resign as the Chairman, Board of Administrators, Asansol Municipal Corporation.

All these leaders are speculated to join the BJP during Amit Shah’s visit later this week.
