Zeenat Aman refutes “Wedding Rumours”, admits being in Love

TNI Bureau: Yesteryear’s glamorous actress Zeenat Aman, whose ‘wedding talks’ created a buzz in media, she finally admitted her new relationship with someone, but refuted the wedding rumours. Talking about her love and marriage, she said that she is happy being in love, but her sons are the prime focus of her life.

Talking to media, Zeenat said, “Yes, I am in love. There is someone in my life, I won’t deny it. But I am not getting married! Not right now at least. Yes, he has proposed to me. But I haven’t decided to take the plunge as yet.”

The 61-year-old actress broke her silence over her wedding that was much speculated in media. She gave more priority to her two sons adding another man to her life. She revealed that her new beau is serious about their relationship, but she needs time to think about it.

The actress, who has seen ups and downs and faced many setbacks in her personal life, is quite skeptical about the future. She said, “Nobody knows what life holds in its store”. Recently, one of her close friends passed away. Seems like, she has understood the life completely.

Zeenat’s love life was not successful in the past. Earlier, she was much talked in the film industry for her affairs with Sanjay Khan. Later, she stunned everyone by getting married to actor Mazhar Khan, who passed away in 1998. However, her married life did not continue for long time. She has two sons from him. Now her sons are the prime focus. They have already grown up, now looking for making their career in their respective fields.

She admitted that her sons want to see their mother happy, giving green signal to her beau. However, she agreed that she was not lucky in love. This time, she has crossed her fingers and hopes that her relationship may play out.

Zeenat is also looking at returning to acting. If she will find a good role and script, she will never hesitate to do that. She realised that her roles in recent times were not much liked by the audience.
