Vindu Dara Singh’s Remand extended till May 28

Actor Vindu Dara Singh, who was arrested in connection with the spot-fixing scandal in the ongoing season of the IPL, could not get relief today as his police custody has been extended till May 28.

He was produced before a Mumbai court today that extended his remand till May 28. He revealed before the police that he had bet on matches on the behalf of Gurunath Meiyappan, the son-in-law of BCCI chief N Srinivasan.

He reportedly told Mumbai police that Meiyappan has lost over Rs. 1 crore in betting.

Meanwhile, political party NCP questioned the credibility of the BCCI chief Srinivasan. The party demanded that he should step down if he is an honest man.
