Utkal University to get Rs 4.12 crore for Development

The Higher Education department in Odisha has sanctioned Rs 4.12 crore to be disbursed from the Infrastructure Development Fund for the development of Utkal University.

The funds will be spend on the augmentation of the new Girls’ Hostel and the repairing of 12 boys/girls hostels inside the campus. Similarly, the North Odisha University will also get Rs 4 crore towards the construction of Convention Hall and a new Girls’ Hostel.

Both Universities have been asked to spent the funds by March 31, 2014 on the above work and submit a detailed report by April 30, 2014.
