A day after IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal met Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to clarify her position in connection with the demolition of the wall of a Mosque at Kadalpur village in Gautam Buddha Nagar district, the Uttar Pradesh Government has revoked her suspension order.
Durga Shakti, a Punjab cadre IAS officer, was transferred to Gautam Buddha Nagar, as his IAS husband, Abhishek Singh is posted in Noida. Durga created panic among the sand mafia, as she had launched a massive crackdown to arrest many illegal miners and seize their trucks and tractors.
Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party leader Ram Asray Kushwaha triggered a controversy by claiming that Durga apologised to CM Akhilesh Yadav for her mistakes following which her suspension was revoked.
