TNI Bureau: It seems that the Centre has put too much burden on the consumers now. After the recent cap on distribution of LPG cylinders, consumers will now get just 6 cylinders per year and they have pay extra to buy the remaining LPG cylinders they need.

Last month, the price of unsubsidized LPG cylinder was Rs 756. However, it has gone up to Rs 883 this month. And, there are indications that the rates will vary every month depending on the global market conditions.
The price of unsubsidized 14/2 kg LPG cylinders in various cities:
Delhi: Rs 883
Mumbai: Rs 894
Kolkata: Rs 913
Chennai: Rs 877
Bhubaneswar: Rs 930
