Trump Announces End to Iran Conflict, Says Peace Deal to Be Signed Soon in Europe

Date:

TNI Bureau: US President Donald Trump has announced an official end to the conflict with Iran, stating that a peace agreement is expected to be signed soon in Europe following high-level negotiations involving regional and international stakeholders.

In a statement, Trump said he had cancelled the planned US strikes and bombings against Iran after discussions with the Islamic Republic were elevated to the highest levels of the Iranian leadership and received approval. He claimed that the key points of the proposed agreement had been agreed upon in principle and in detail by all parties involved, including the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan and Egypt.

Trump said the US naval blockade would remain in effect until the agreement is formally finalised. He added that the venue and date for the signing ceremony would be announced shortly.

Speaking about recent military operations, Trump claimed that the United States had quietly targeted several Iranian-linked ships and military assets over the past month, including radar systems, to weaken Iran’s capabilities. He further stated that the Strait would officially reopen once the agreement is signed, which he said could happen very soon, possibly over the weekend in Europe.

According to Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff are expected to play key roles in the final stages of the agreement. He also credited direct negotiations with the leaders of Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia for helping secure the breakthrough.

Trump declared that the conflict was effectively over and expressed confidence that the upcoming agreement would bring stability to the region.
