Even as BJP President Rajnath Singh is trying his best to build a consensus over Narendra Modi’s anointment as BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate, veteran leader LK Advani continues to show resistance and stall the proceedings. Bihar BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi has openly criticised Advani for his ‘stubdonpatoness’.

Sushil Modi told the media that “LK Advani era is over now and the old leaders should pave the way for new generation leaders. Advani should announce Modi as the PM candidate as he did for Vajpayee. Narendra Modi is the most popular leader of the country and people want him as the PM”.

Sushil Modi earlier tweeted, “Adavaniji has failed to gauge the public mood. Advaniji himself declared Atalji as Pm candidate now also he could have done the same for NaMo”.

He was more critical of Advani in another tweet, calling him as a “dead politician” without taking the name. “Politics is the only profession in which people aspire till their last. Ministerial berth can resurrect a dead politician?” he tweeted.
