Sunrisers Hyderabad, Otago Volts qualify for CLT20

The Sunrisers Hyderabad from India and Otago Volts of New Zealand have qualified for the main draw of CLT20 2013. Both teams have two matches each so far, while two other teams Faisalbad Wolves and Kandurata maroons lost both their matches.

The teams from Pakistan and Sri Lanka have failed to qualify for CLT20 2013. They will meet each other in the last qualifying battle, which will determine the third place team. On the other hand, Hyderabad and Otago will battle for the numero uno spot.

Hyderabad Skipper Shikhar Dhawan continued with his good form, as he scored two fities in a row. Amit Mishra too proved himself in the bowling department. Misbah-ul-Haq tried his best in both matches with fifties, but his team, Faisalabad Wolves could not win a single game.

For Otago Volts, Brendon McCullum was the star in the first match against Faisalabad Wolves. In the second game, Ryan ten Doeschate was the hero. In total, 10 teams will take part in the Champions League T20 to be held later this month. Defending Champions Sydney Sixers failed to qualify this time.
