TNI Bureau: Sri Lanka exposed the flaw in Australian batting line-up by making them crawl at 40/9 and then bowling them out for a paltry 74 in the third ODI in Brisbane. Sri Lanka lost six wickets while chasing down the total, but they won it to lead the series 2-1.
Australian bowlers tried their best to put Sri Lanka in trouble. They did to some extent. But, the fielders dropped a few catches and missed out run-out chances to let Sri Lanka score 75/6 and won the match.
For Australia, Mitchell Johnson took three wickets, while Mitchell Starc took two wickets. Dilshan (22) and Perera (22*) played the anchor role in Sri Lankan innings. Kulasekara was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
