Sony had launched the Xperia Z Tab along with the Xperia Z phone a couple of months back. But though the phone was available almost immediately after the launch, there was no sign of the Sony Xperia Tablet Z. And even now, though Sony is yet to confirm the official availability, the tablet is up for pre-orders on most e-commerce sites.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z comes with water-resistant and dust-resistant qualities along with Sony Mobile BRAVIA® Engine 2. The tablet runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.1. and with a quad-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm processor and backed by 2 GB of RAM. There is an expandable card slot which supports up to 64 GB expansion.
Xperia Tablet Z comes with an 8.1 MP rear end camera with 16X digital zoom without flash that supports HD video recording (1080p) and comes with Exmor R sensor. The front camera is a 2.2 MP for video-calling. The tablet comes with a generous 6000 mAh battery.
