In his comeback series, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi achieved a rare milestone by becoming the first cricketer to hit 400 international sixes in all three formats of the game – Tests, ODI and Twenty20. His achievement came in the first T20 match against the West Indies.
While Afridi tops the list of maximum international sixes, Chris Gayle is on the second spot with 353 sixes. Afridi has scored 52 sixes in 27 Tests, 314 sixes in 359 ODIs and 34 sixes in 56 T20 matches. For India, Sachin Tendulkar has hit 264 international sixes, while MS Dhoni has hit 249 sixes so far.
