Former Madhya Pradesh Finance Minister Raghavji was arrested by the state police in connection with the sodomy charges levelled by his former domestic help. Raghavji had to resign from the Cabinet after a CD, involving his sex act was circulated in the public domain.

Raghavji was on the run for the last few days. He was evading arrest. He was picked up from a flat in Bhopal and taken to the police station for further interrogation.

After being dropped from the Cabinet, Raghavji was expelled from the primary membership of the BJP. Another BJP leader, Shiv Shankar Pateria was suspended after he he claimed to have exposed Raghavji by making his CD.
