TNI Bureau: Virender Sehwag is back with a bang. The ‘Nawab of Najafgarh’ scored an explosive century on Day 1 of the first test match against England at Motera, Ahmedabad.
Sehwag took just 90 balls to complete his 23rd Test century and 2nd against England. He is batting on 106 with 15 boundaries and 1 six.
Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat first. Sehwag and Gambhir added 134 runs for the first wicket. Gambhir departed on 45. Swann claimed that wicket.
