Samsung has slashed price of the Android-powered Samsung Galaxy Camera in India. With a reduction of Rs. 3,880, the device is now available at Rs. 26,250. The new cost also includes a battery charging kit for free.
The camera was released in November last year in India and the price cut took place just within two months. The Samsung Galaxy Camera is powered by a 16-megapixel sensor, F/2.8 aperture, 23mm-480mm lens with 21x optical zoom, 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor as well as a 4.8-inch S-LCD display with 1280×720p resolution, 4.8-inch touchscreen, 1GB RAM, a 1,650mAh battery and supports sim-card for 3G connectivity. It has a BSI CMOS sensor and has digital and optical zoom of 21x each.

The Galaxy Camera also comes with Android 4.1 Jelly bean on-board, 8GB of internal storage, 1GB RAM microSD card slot, 3G (HSPA+ 21Mbps), HDMI 1.4, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 1,650 mAh battery.
Besides the normal operations, the camera also boasts of the features like optical image stabilization and auto-focus (centre, multi and Face Detection) in this gadget. Some of the exclusive features of this camera are Instagram, Paper Artist, Dropbox, Photo Wizard, Video Editor, AllShare Play, S-Suggest and S-Voice.
