TNI Bureau: The Odisha police made sensational claims on Tuesday that Maoist leader Sabyasachi Panda and his aide Nikita were injured in the Bhaliaguda encounter. The claims are based on the inputs received from some arrested people, who allegedly have close links with Sabyasachi and his Odisha Maobadi Party.

Sabyasachi’s close aide Pradeep was reportedly injured and being treated at an unidentified location. While arresting those four people, the police recovered some guns, ammunition and grenades.

Meanwhile, after listening to the intellectuals who met him yesterday, DGP Prakash Mishra said that all operations would be halted if Sabyasachi surrenders and returns to mainstream.
