RSS and Reddit Founder Aaron Swartz commits Suicide

TNI Bureau: Developer of RSS technology and co-founder of social media site Reddit, Aaron Swartz committed suicide at the age of 26. He hanged himself at his apartment in Brooklyn, New York.

Aaron Swartz was regarded as a computer prodigy in the modern digital world. He was charged of stealing millions of scholarly articles to make them available for public. He ended his life before his trial could begin.

RSS is a useful technology that helps the users to get updates from blogs, news headlines, audio and video in web feed format. Reddit was one of the top three social media sites a few years ago before losing the momentum.

In 2008, Swartz had written a program to download the files from public libraries, which he claimed was legal. He was arrested in Boston in 2011 and was charged of breaching site terms, computer fraud, wire fraud and many others.
