Royal Baby: Kate, William blessed with a Boy

The celebration started across London and best wishes poured in for the British royal family after Prince William’s wife Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, was blessed with a baby boy, the couple’s first child and next hire to the British throne.

Kate delivered his baby, Prince of Cambridge, at 4:24 p.m. (11:24 a.m. ET) at St. Mary’s Hospital in west London where Prince William was also born to Princess Diana in 1982. Both mother and the child were doing well. The baby will be publicly named later as per the royal family rule.

It was a wonderful moment for Prince William, Grandmother Queen Elizabeth, father Prince Charles and Brother Prince Harry. The child is the third in line to the throne after Prince Charles and William.

Minutes after the news was aired, messages of congratulations began flooding in. There was a huge crowd gathered outside the Queen’s London residence Buckingham Palace to celebrate the moment.
