Rehman Malik demands “Security” for Shahrukh Khan

TNI Bureau: Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik demanded the Indian government seeking security for Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, who is loved by both people of India and Pakistan.

While talking to the reporters at a function organised by Indian High Commissioner to mark India’s republic Day in Pakistan, Malik said that star like Shahrukh should get protection from India as he is a public figure and has millions of fans in both India and Pakistan. He talked about giving security to the actor when terrorism is growing across the world.

SRK is born to Muslim parents in India. But his father Taj Mohammed Khan was an Indian independence activist from Peshawar. But his grandparents were originally from Afghanistan. Even his popularity can be seen in UAE.

Following Malik’s statemnet, Jamaat-ud Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed, who is the most wanted terrorist accused in the Parliament attack, said that SRK can move to Pakistan if he did not feel safe in India. He assured that the superstar will be respected in Pakistan.

Saeed’s invitation comes in response to SRK’s statement in a magazine in which he has stated the life in India as a Muslim. He had said that how Muslim people are becoming the victim of politics and how they are being considered as unpatriotic.
