Rajasthan Royals player Siddharth Trivedi turned witness in the spot-fixing case in IPL. His deposition in the court may make the case stronger and the three tainted players Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankit Chavan, who have been arrested will get no relief.

Trivedi had refused Ajit Chandila’s ainvitation to attend a party arranged by bookies. He had also refused money and gifts offered by the bookies. Delhi police made him a prosecution witness and he will narrate everything before the court.

Apart from Trivedi, Chandila had also approached Bradd Hodge and Kevin Cooper of Rajasthan Royals to attend the bookies’ party. However, they all had rejected his offer.
