TNI Bureau: Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi slammed the Gujarat government terming the development of the state as “good marketing” that ‘Gujarat is shining’. On the last day of campaigning for the first phase of the assembly polls, Rahul tried to motivate the people to cast their votes in favour of Congress.
Without taking Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s name, Rahul said that the CM did not listen to the people, but himself. He alleged that the CM had his dreams and he thought about those only, not of people.
Addressing a gathering at Jamnagar on Tuesday, Rahul said that only one voice is heard in Gujarat, the voice of Aam Admi was being suppressed. He alleged that Gujarat assembly runs for only 25 days in a year. It shows that the state is being run by one person.
Criticising the development of the state, Rahul said that it is a very good marketing that ‘Gujarat is shining’, but Gujarat does not get water and massive unemployment has also been seen, but still Gujarat is shining. He alleged that corruption is hidden inside rooms, RTI applications are pending and no action has been taken up.
Hitting out at Modi, he said that a true leader listens to the voice of aam admi, not his own.
