Kings XI Punjab beat Pune Warriors India by 7 wickets in the ongoing IPL 6. Mandeep Singh and David Miller played a wonderful innings at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali, on Sunday.
Chasing the target of 186, Punjab won the match in 19 overs losing only three wickets. David Miller was the MoM for his fabulous unbeaten 80 off 41 balls. Mandeep scored 77 (seven fours) off 58 balls. Miller hit five boundaries and five sixes. Their partnership was awesome and the duo batted wonderfully.
Punjab won the toss, but elected to field first. Pune scored 185/4 in 20 overs. The game was completely in Pune’s hand when Gilchrist and Mahmood were out. However, Punjab rebuilt the innings. Thanks to Manan Vohra and Mandeep Singh, whose partnership of 53 runs took the match forward. David Miller changed the match with some big hits and led the team to victory.
