TNI Bureau: India finally bowled out for 327 in the first innings of the second test match against England in Mumbai. Cheteshwar Pujara was the top scorer with 135, while R Ashwin scored 68.
Resuming from the overnight score of 266/6, India added 61 runs to the total. Apart from Pujara (135), Ashwin (68), Sehwag (30) and Dhoni (29), Harbhajan too scored 21. Monty Panesar took five wickets, while Graeme Swann took four wickets.
England went to lunch at 7/0. Dhoni started the bowling attack with Ashwin and Prgyan Ojha. With another Harbhajan Sing ready to fire, India are placed better with 327 on board. The onus would be on England batsmen how they apply themselves.
