As Sachin Tendulkar is going to play his last Test (200th) on November 14, India’s youngsters have started to show a lot of determination and resilience to fill up the vacuum created by the departure of Sachin, Dravid and Laxman. Cheteshwar Pujara, who is being compared to Rahul Dravid, has scored a triple hundred against the West Indies A, while playing for India A.
In the second innings, West Indies A were 116/3 at stumps on Day 3. They were 57/3 at one stage. India need to press for an outright victory tomorrow to level the series 1-1.
This is the second triple hundred by Pujara, as he had scored 352 against Karnataka in Ranji Trophy earlier. He has scored three double hundreds and three triple hundreds in first class cricket since November 2012. They included two Test double hundreds against England and Australia.
